BO.MA has traditionally been sensitive to the environmental problems and environmental sustainability. The Company operates in full compliance with laws and regulations, both at regional, national and international level.
Substances and preparations used are constantly monitored for the presence of "Substances of Very High Concern",  which are included in the Candidate List (REACH).
BOMA is committed to improving eco-efficiency of production through:

• the reduced use of solvent
• the reduction of energy consuption
• waste reduction

The two production plants are classified as "industrial plant for surface treatment of substances, objects or products using organic solvents, with a consumption capacity of more than 200 solvent tons / year, " therefore are in compliance with  the scope of Legislative Decree 59/2005. They obtained the global release by the Region Friuli Venezia Giulia called “Integrated Environmental Permit” (AIA), which contains in a single document all permits relating to air emissions, water discharges, waste management, noise, etc..
The AIA requires the adoption of a plan of measures to control and further reduce air emissions and water, energy consumption, waste production, the replacement of the chemicals used with other of lower danger and impact on  environment through the use of best available technologies.
